Conflict Resolution
How we resolve disagreements
We are a high-trust, high-performance team. We believe that conflict is a normal and healthy part of working together. We also believe that it's important to have a process for resolving conflict in a way that is respectful, constructive, and fair.
Our Approach
We believe that the best way to resolve conflict is to talk about it. We encourage everyone to have open and honest conversations, and to work through disagreements in a way that strengthens our relationships.
Our Process
If you have a disagreement with someone, we encourage you to try to resolve it directly with them. If you're not comfortable doing that, or if you've tried and it hasn't worked, you can ask for help.
- Talk to the other person: The first step is to have a conversation with the other person. Try to understand their perspective, and to explain your own.
- Talk to your manager: If you're not able to resolve the conflict on your own, you can ask your manager for help. Your manager will help you and the other person have a constructive conversation.
- Talk to a founder: If you're not comfortable talking to your manager, or if your manager is involved in the conflict, you can talk to Dan or Greg. They will help you find a path forward.
Our Commitment
We are committed to creating a work environment where everyone feels safe, respected, and heard. We will not tolerate retaliation against anyone who raises a concern or participates in a conflict resolution process.
